We’re a company of owners—almost every Mill staffer will become eligible for a long-term stake in Alaska Mill Feed and Garden Center within two years of joining us. But Mill Team Members think and act like owners from day one. We are down-to-earth, casual and from-the heart. We work hard, and we can be intense about doing our best. There are more than sixty of us in our retail store, distribution center, manufacturing facilities, and our administrative offices, but we share a common culture—and you can feel it!

BENEFITS OF WORKING AT THE MILL:
Employee Ownership: Mill Team Members who work at least 1000 hours over a 50 week period will automatically qualify to become company owners through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Staff Discount: We love our animals and want to be able to have firsthand experience with the foods and supplies we sell. We offer an opportunity to do that with staff discounts and pet feeding programs on items in the store.
Paid Time Off: We work hard, but we need to recharge. All staff are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO) and you can use it for vacations, sick leave, or just a day for you.
Healthcare: Because even the heartiest of Mill Team Members can get sick. We offer Healthcare insurance options to all employees that work an average of 32 hours a week. Vision, Dental and Voluntary Life Insurance plans are also offered.
