Scratch and Peck Feeds Organic Turkey Grower is a Non-GMO Project Verified and Certified Organic premium animal feed.

Growing turkeys need the perfect balance of nutrients to reach their full growth potential. This Stage Two feed is appropriate for turkey poults (Jake’s and Jenny’s) 7-15 weeks with enough nutrient-rich formulation to continue their journey toward becoming layers or meat birds.

Organic Turkey Grower is professionally formulated with whole grains and flax meal for extra protein and Omega-3 fatty acids. With a minimum of 20.5% protein, this feed is designed with the bird’s optimal nutritional requirements in mind. This feed works well for both heritage breeds and broad-breasted turkeys. The resulting product will be of high-quality healthy birds.

A nutritionally complete premium diet combined with fresh water, a clean coop and nesting environment, and plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and room to roam is among the most important considerations for your flock’s longterm wellbeing.

After your turkey chicks have been fed a high protein starter feed, we recommend switching your growing turkeys at 4 weeks of age to our Organic Turkey Grower. Contents may settle, so be sure to mix and scoop from the bottom of the bag.

Some breeds, especially heritage breeds, may do better with additional protein. You can use high protein sources, such as our Cluckin’ Good Grubs, which have a minimum 34% protein level.

You may find that the use of our Organic Turkey Grower will result in a slower growth rate than if using a soy based feed. Soy is one of the top crops in the U.S. grown with GMO strains. The widespread use of GMO soy has made it incredibly difficult to find soy that has not been contaminated with GMOs. We believe it’s better to be cautious and have chosen to completely exclude soy from all of our feeds. When using our Organic Turkey Grower, we recommend giving your birds additional time in their growth cycle to accommodate for a more natural grow out.
