If your pet is unfamiliar with a nail grinder, start by getting them accustomed to seeing the product (by placing in a visible location), then gradually move to turning it on to allow them to see, sniff, and get used to the sound. Once they become familiar, begin to use the nail grinder on a few nails at a time and then gradually move to the rest of the nails. When you need to replace the grinding band on the grinder, follow these steps:
- Loosen the screw by turning it counterclockwise.
- Once the screw is loosened, remove the grinding band from the grinding drum,
- Place the new grinding band on the grinding drum
- Tighten the screw by turning it clockwise to secure the grinding band.
